So last night I caught about 20 minutes of "Harry and the Hendersons" and couldn't help but notice that there is a lot of cool iron in the background. Maybe it's because it was the 80's, but it seemed like there were several 911's, 944's, and various VW's everywhere. In the traffic jam during the chase/getaway scene towards the end, there was one 911, one Beetle, and probably five Rabbits between the good guys and the bad guys. There were also a lot of 80's E36 M3boxes, like Tempos and such, but it seemed the ratio was unusually high for cool German cars.

now I KNOW you are lying. There is no such thing...
I like the Canadian trapper's Suburban.
Not much in this picture, but what's in front of the Citation? Is that a Fiat in the lower right corner? I do like that old Subaru quite a bit.
Might help if I add the pic.
Here's an old Benz and an RX-7.

Agreed, but damn you for mentioning trappers, now I have the trapper song from "Cannibal! The Musical" stuck in my head.

Take a look at http://www.speedtv.com/programs/hollywoods-hottest-car-chases/ for the greatest movie chase scenes. I found this as part of my research for my graphic novel and movie. It’s a chase movie in a ‘laydown’ kart. Ever seen a real laydown kart? 120 –140 mph, one inch off the ground. You can see them in action at my site -- www.getcarly.com. (of course I’d love it if you take a look)
