I feel like when I say that, either no one has any idea wtf I’m talking about, or it’s only funny to me.

Glad it’s not just me.

Right on, I thought it was going to be all “this often-overlooking gem avoids the typical Toyota tax while surprising to the upside with…”

There can only be one?

The series was 1000% better than the movies. Doesn’t hold up too well unfortunately, some things are just best left to memory.

I absolutely agree the series is amazing. Its weird tho, I never ever see it on these days. Adrian Paul was super cool, even though he rocked high-waisted pants, but check out this list of guest stars, per Wikipedia: "Over its six-year run, the series had guest stars including Joan Jett, Vanity, Roger Daltrey, Richard Moll, Traci Lords, Sheena Easton, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, Nia Peeples, Rae Dawn Chong, Eric McCormack, Sandra Bernhard, Claudia Christian and Ron Perlman."
I watched the series quite a bit in my middle school aged days. The story has a neat 'feature' of going to any number of time periods for story lines.
I've been to the castle in the opening of the movie multiple times (my wife is a MacKenzie, and it was originally a MacKenzie castle, now in the MacRae clan) - great place! If any of you ever go to Scotland and take a tour, it's on almost all of the tour routes. Great country ot visit, by the way, nice tributes to Jim Clark, Jackie Stewart and Colin McRae in the National Museum in Edinburgh.
When Jim Pettengill, who's been part of the GRM family for decades, chimes in on a Highlander thread, you know things are pretty cool.
