This past week, I wasn't feeling well. Apparently, my wife thought this was the man flu and decided to become more hostile towards me as I became more lethargic. I nearly drove the family off the road I was so tired one day. Then my knee swelled up and I can't walk.. She was less amused by my lack of mobility. Long story short, I got pneumonia and the infection is in my knee. I was pretty worried it was the flu... luckily it is not. Ohh holiday joy.
She feels pretty bad about her behavior.. ...... Now.. Only to feel better so I can cash in those sweet sweet guilt chips...

Ugh. Pneumonia. That is fun. Not. Been down that road a time or five.
Thankfully I'm currently on my longest streak without it, going on 13-14 years. Knock on wood.

I don't take for granted that someone will be around to excuse any bad behavior. I'm sorry for calling out bad behavior. Do I need to lighten up? Almost certainly. But I also feel like the world would be a better place if we were collectively less willing to let our friends say things that are hurtful to others.
I'm really irritated about the whole "man flu" thing, because it's utter horseE36 M3 in my experience.

The existence of a “man flu” does not rule out the existence of a “woman flu”.
EVERYTHING can be hurtful to SOMEONE. The answer is to reduce the overall level of butt hurt.

Pneumonia is a lung infection is it not? Or is this thing with the knee a bonus health issue on top of the pneumonia?
So I got my pneumonia shot and my flu shot. So I am safe.
