I used to work at and my dad retired from a brass mill just east of the Mississippi they owned several ammunitions plants. We ran a lot brass for govt munitions contracts. The machine I worked on pretty much only ran US and other friendly govt contracts. They owned at least one ammunition plant west of the mississippi that only did govt ammunition. I wish I had taken pics of the no smoking signs, they said no smoking permitted outside this building. People had to smoke inside because of forklifts driving by outside were carrying gun powder to the adjacent ammo plant. We had storage bunkers for ammo on two sides of our building.

so, the sign theoretically says trespassers won't be prosecuted.

however, looking at the code, apparently it's a really fancy (scary?) sign for "don't walk on the grass", and maybe "don't take anything".  Or maybe, you'll be prosecuted for taking this sign?

Don't walk on the grass? In a park? Sheesh. I figured it was a daylight-only ordinance with a poorly chosen sign

Hard to see in the picture... even with my drawing, lol...but there are old yellow road lines on this patch of concrete. Like they took it up from somewhere else, and used it here as a patch. Is that possible to do?

Haha, nope, Toledo, OH.  It was during the height of the "crack wars" in the 90's.

Down South, you guys take snacks seriously. Welcome to Snack Jail, where you have to bail out your own snacks.

In fact, I live in an area that's probably worse than this.

No... they're definitely your standard lane divider lines.

Its been stanger_missle since 2002 (when I registered for Yahoo mail and misspelled it, now I have to misspell it out of tradition). I think it was SVRex that accidentally called me stanger_mussle in a reply and I thought it was berkeleying hilarious so I changed it. Then I made the dumb avatar one night after about 6 beers.

If you can't laugh at yourself and all that...

Holy crap, a pay phone?!  I would have had to call my cell just to see if it worked. Well, assuming i had some spray disinfectant with me.

I didn't even think to see if it still worked until I was back in the car. In my defense at that obvious lapse of judgement, I was holding a dog leash with a stubborn Milo at the end of it and a bag of poop in my left hand while taking the photo with my right; and I had to get back to the van to help my wife get babygirl back in the carseat.
