What an amalgamation of great talent.
Jimmy Webb and Mark Knopfler: Highwayman

Webb is one of the most prolific songwriters of all time. He wrote some great songs, including this one. He teams up here with one of my favorite performers and songwriters.
Well I see my links are still not posting as links, as of yesterday ... at least not as I can see it on my iPhone. It's just coming over as a string of URL text. Can anybody else see it as a link to the YouTube video I posted above?
Queen- Don't Stop Me Now
This song popped back up on my radar about 2 weeks ago when I saw Hardcore Henry on a whim so I wasn't sitting at home moping about my recently-injured foot while SWMBO went to see a 3-hour long ballet simulcast at the movie theater. It was the perfect 'shut your brain off and try and keep up' movie, and 'Don't Stop Me Now' was used to absolutely perfect effect in it (as were a number of other songs, while it was very much a 'concept' movie and far from high art they did a lot of things well, especially with sound and music cues).
The song over the last few days has sort of become my internal (and external when blaring music won't interfere with whatever SWMBO is doing...) fight song as I recover from the surgery (and the meds they had me on...) and I've fought to try and claw my way back to living my life closer to what was 'normal' before injuring myself.
Lately I have been listening to Dumpstaphunk

I don't really remember it from Shaun of the Dead, it's been quite a while since I saw it...
