What makes this 1989 Porsche 911 Speedster so special?
How about the color: Ruby Red. In fact, our own Porsche 911 Carrera wears a very similar hue.
This particular Speedster’s special interior appointments came via Porsche’s Special Wishes department: Silk Grey leather-to-sample along with burgundy piping along with matching grey carpeting.
“All this was provided by the Special Wishes department at Porsche, a luxury reserved for the company’s most dedicated clients,” notes RM Sotheby’s, the firm about to offer this particular car. “The consignor notes that the dash required special approval from Porsche due to the possible reflection from the specified color.”
The Speedster shows less than 5100 miles on the odometer and will be offered at RM Sotheby’s Amelia Island sale without reserve.
