Wow, bid to $263,000–and the reserve was not met.

Sure, this 1966 Shelby GT350 needs some work, but it’s the last Fastback built for the model year. With that going for it, it is currently at $250,000-plus on Bring a Trailer.
To put things in perspective, Hagerty values a 1966 Shelby GT350 in No. 4 condition for $147,000. In fact, the current price on BaT is approaching a concours-grade type of GT350 for that year.
Let’s address the elephant in the room–this is certainly a project car that needs cosmetic and mechanical attention. It does not run, but does have a matching-numbers engine. You can see the rust seeping through the white paint that replaced the original color of Sapphire Blue. The current owner bought it with the intent of “retaining the condition in which it was discovered.”
So, would you do this project? If so, how much are you willing to buy it for?
