The Jaguar XK 120 might be a legend in its own right, but this one is even more desirable thanks to its original owner: Hollywood icon Clark Gable.
Gable configured the Jaguar with a few competition-inspired options like wire wheels and hood louvers, though also specified a custom luggage rack for his golf clubs.
Retaining its numbers matching body, chassis, and engine, the XK 120 was restored to its current condition in the early 2000s–just in time to be shown at the 2016 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este.
Find this 1952 Jaguar XK 120 up for auction from RM Sotheby’s with an expected selling price of €350,000-€500,000 (approximately $385,000-$550,000).
