Postwar and powerful: The Jaguar XK140.
Jaguar established itself as a leading postwar sports car manufacturer in 1948 with the debut of the XK120. Jaguar then updated the performance and design to create the XK140, available between 1954 and 1957.
But what we have for you today is no ordinary XK140.
Why? It’s an original, desirable MC model. Distinguished from the standard XK140 by its 210-horsepower engine, this model entered the U.S. in 1956. Charles Noto purchased this XK140 MC in 2006, where it has remained in his collection. Until now.
This car has undergone a complete restoration and retains the original body, engine, chassis and gearbox. It is also accompanied by a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate.
Find this 1956 Jaguar XK140 MC Roadster for auction October 9-10 at RM Sotheby’s Hershey 2024. The estimate for this Jaguar is $130,000 to $160,000.
