The 300 SL Roadster, developed and introduced specifically to meet the needs of the growing market along the West Coast of the United States, combined the experience of a drop-top with the performance of Mercedes-Benz’s Gullwing coupe.
This 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster is one of those drop-top cars, reported to be a numbers-matching example that comes complete with fitted luggage.
Currently showing 77,947 miles on its odometer, the 300 SL is said to have been recently serviced by Burlingame Motors, which replaced motor mounts and sway bar bushings as well as serviced, cleaned and adjusted the brakes.
