Think the only color suitable for a Ferrari is red? This 1960 250 GT Cabriolet might change your mind.
Produced alongside the higher-volume 250 GT Coupé, Pininfarina produced a few more than 200 Cabriolet models, with this example sporting Grigio Metallizzato (metallic gray) paint over a Cuoio leather interior.
Powering this 250 GT is a numbers-matching, 3.0-liter V12, which the seller notes “has been impeccably restored and correctly detailed using exact finishes, original accessories, and properly treated hardware.” That original powerplant transfers its power to the road through the numbers-matching four-speed gearbox.
More than $1 million was reportedly spent on restoring this Ferrari as part of a “highly detailed and comprehensively documented three-year restoration with the goal of achieving a premier concours level car.”
Also included with the 250 GT is a Ferrari Classiche Red Book with certificate, a copy of the Marcel Massini report, and even a matching factory hardtop with stand.
