The metal work for our Bugeye Sprite was nearly finished, but before Javier at Jeff’s Restorations went any further, we made sure things properly fit.
He asked us to bring over the cowl trim, door hinges, taillights and turn signal lights.
The cowl trim did not fit correctly initially, but Javier was able to coax it into place.
The doors and lights fit much better.
Then he could massage the hood into place. The big things here: Taking time and have the correct feel to massage everything back into place.
Now, finally, we can get to the paint.
